Hello! I’m Nico Rypstra, or Teacher Nico. I’m from Michigan in the USA, and I’m very excited to come to teach at ECC!
I graduated from Michigan State University in 2022 with a bachelors in humanities and minors in Korean language and teaching English to speakers of other languages. I spent a semester during my program teaching adult English learners and following graduation spent just under 2 years at a local early childcare center and preschool. I have experience both learning and teaching languages, so I know firsthand what kind of support language learners may need. I’m looking forward to helping your children further their English skills!
