Little Prince

                           Jack(Grade 5)

Antoine de Saint Exupery lived in France. He trained to fly a fighter plane.

He lived as a pilot, During the World War Ⅱ. he went to the war as a pilot but sadly he disappeared on July 31st 1944. The 「Little Prince」was announced in 1943 during the World War Ⅱ. It's one of the famous stories and was translated into 80 languages. This story was made for grownups to read. This story shows beauty through children's eyes. I tried to be an artist but grownups suggested I give up art so I became a pilot.

One day I had crashed in the desert because the engine bad broken down so I stayed in the desert and met a boy. He was a little prince. He came from astroid B-612. This astroid was seen once. The Little Prince's planet had volcanoes. One day a sprout came out. It grew up and became a flower. It had four thorns. The Little Prince took care of the flower. The Little Prince thought the flower was complicated. The flower said she was cold and thirsty so the Little Prince watered her and put her under glass. He'd become unhappy over her illogical remarks. Because of that, he decided to leave. He used the migration of a flock of wild birds for his escape. He cleaned out the volcanoes.

Little Prince thought grown-ups are strange and left. He went to the second Planet. There was a man. The man told the Little Prince to clap and wanted Little Prince to admire him. Little Prince thought grown ups are strange and left.

On the third planet there was a drunkard. He said he was drinking because he was a shamed of drinking. Little Prince went to the fourth planet and met a business man. On the ffith planet, he met a lamp lighte and on the sixth planet, he met a geographer. The geographer told the Little Prince to go to the earth because it's famous for geography. The Little Prince landed on the desert and that is how he met I. The Little Prince met a snake, a flower, roses and a fox.

He said it's a long journey to be back to his Planet so he couldn't bring his body and the stars are the present to me. We gently fell to the ground, I wish I had a friend like Little Prince. Then, my life won't be boring. It'll be fun to have somebody next to you. But instead, I have a baby sister . So I'll take good care of my baby sister.
