Hello! My name is Rafael, and I have been living and teaching English in Korea for almost seven years. I taught English in Changwon Masan. After that, I taught in Gimhae and then Busan. I have been teaching in Seoul and really enjoy the competitive and results-driven nature of the capital city.
In addition to a TEFL certification, I graduated from Damelin with a bachelor's degree in commerce, majoring in Business Management and Marketing. I started studying Korean; this helps me understand the differences between the languages and adapt my teaching accordingly. In my free time, I love to play and coach ice hockey, go hiking, and travel.
I get great job satisfaction from seeing students improve, and this motivates me to keep teaching. I always endeavor to make my lessons as impactful, fun, and informative. I am looking forward to helping every student try their best and develop throughout the year!
