For new kindergarten students, be aware that it is normal for young children to feel scared or even cry when they are separated from their parents and try new experiences on their own. They may be confused and unsure of what they should be doing. Others will be scared.  Teachers will need to be very patient and help the students adjust to the new changes in their lives. If you do have problems in your class, ask the kindergarten teacher, desk staff, or your partner teacher for help.  Welcome each student with a handshake, a smile, and a hello.

 

The following outlines the kindergarten activities scheduled for the rest of this week and next week.
