As mentioned at the teachers’ meeting last Friday, English diaries are an important part of the ECC curriculum. To ensure a balance share of English diaries among the native teachers, I’ve updated the English Diary Schedule.

 

Attached is a copy of the diary schedule. You can find the schedule on the ECC Library under the English Diary Support icon. This schedule will be kept updated. Please let me know if there are any changes to your diary schedule. If you and your partner(s) have made other arrangements, please let me know and I will make the appropriate changes to the schedule.

 

Also attached are pages 18 and 19 from the Teachers’ Training Manual that outlines the diary program. (With few exceptions, students should begin the diary program once they enter the Carnival 3 Program).

 

For this program to be successful, teachers must be consistent in collecting, checking, and returning the diaries weekly. If the teacher is consistent then the majority of the students will be consistent (Consistency is the key!).

 

Korean teachers should provide any parent feedback to the western teachers.
